Assist with set up in new residence (local)

  • Set up kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, living room as required
  • Hang pictures

  • Get additional keys cut
  • Remove packing material

Rental Kit for Small Moves

Kit includes:

  • 6 Pack of Pro econo moving blankets 72” x 80”
  • Drill, rechargeable battery & charger, drill bits
  • Hammer, screw driver set & pliers
  • Reusable furniture sliders 5” x 4/pack & 3.5” x 4/pack
  • Measuring tape x 1
  • Exacto knife & scissors x 1 each
  • Goggles x 1
  • Commercial tape dispenser and 1 roll of packing tape
  • Disposable mask, gloves x 2 pairs
  • Swiffer duster x 2 disposable + handle
  • Painters tape x 1
  • Kitchen catcher garbage bag x 2
  • Variety of picture hangers

All items must be returned in the same condition you received them with the exception of the disposable, gloves, mask, garbage bags, Swiffer dusters and any unused tape, blades & picture hangers.

$50.00/ 48 hours; $5.00 for each additional 24 hours

Home Owners

  • Assist with organizing kitchens, closets, bedrooms, entryways
  • Assist with meal planning and grocery shopping
  • Inventory belongings for insurance/estate purposes

Commercial & Small Business

  • Assist with organizing office layout
  • Filing systems
  • Archiving

Packages

All packages include one (1) hour free consultation.

Package #1

Pay as you go - hourly rate 

Minimum 2 hours

Package #2

10 hours

+ 1 hour free

Package #3

25 hours

+ 5 hours free

Package #4

50 hours

+ 10 hours free

All packages are hands on with client and customized based on needs:

  • Life transitions or downsizing
  • Moving and relocation – planning, packing and unpacking
  • Organizing a home or small office
  • Kitchens/basements/laundry rooms
  • Managing an estate

Schedule to be mutually agreeable between Janet and client – no expiry on prepaid hours!

Packages also include:

  • Free removal and drop off of donated goods
  • Will arrange for sale/auction of surplus furniture/equipment/antiques – applicable fees to be determined and agreed to with client
  • Packing supplies, bins, garbage bins to be purchased/arranged by Space For Change and reimbursed by client

Payment Terms

Prepaid for 5 & 10 hour sessions             

50% down for 25 & 50 hour sessions – balance due day 5

Cash ~ E-transfer~ Cheque ~ Credit Card

Cancellation Policy:  48 hours’ notice required otherwise invoiced for 2 hours.
